This personal home inventory management software package is provided as ad-supported freeware. There are no limitations and it will operate indefinitely without restriction. After entering more than 10 items banner advertisements will appear in the software. The banner advertisements are included in the software and do not communicate with any outside agency or third party ad server.

Beware: There are inventory service websites offering to store your inventory data on their servers. It's argued that you'll have a safe off-site backup. Sounds good in theory but why would you want to give your personal information away to a 3rd party? By storing your data on a webserver, someone, somewhere has full access to all your data. A centralized storage area for your data and hundreds of others is a tempting target for hackers since it's not just your inventory data ... it's the data of a bunch of people all stored in the same place. Additionally, what happens to your data if the inventory service goes out of business? The dot-com bust is ample evidence that companies come and go. If you're worried about offsite backup which is a valid concern in case of a fire you should simply make a backup of your MY STUFF folder and take it to your office or send a copy to your mother. Additionally the compressed inventory backup can actually be emailed to a trusted person as a backup ... i.e. a family member. It's really no big deal.
